Frequently Asked Questions
If we change our mind can we get a refund?
Yes, we always offer refunds as we understand peoples circumstances change and they can no longer attend the camp. However, we do have a 24 hour policy whereas we need at least 24 hours notice if you would like to cancel the camp.
If my child is not well do we get a refund?
We do not offer a refund as usually if a child is too unwell to attend the camp it would be within 24 hours. However, we understand that children can feel unwell at anytime, therefore we do offer you an opportunity to bring your child on an alternative day at no extra cost.
What do children need to bring with them?
All children need is their Sports clothing/PE kit, suitable trainers, packed lunch and a drinks bottle. For Swimming days they will need their swimming kit and a towel.
Do they need to be a competent swimmer to go swimming?
Unfortunately, yes they do need to be a competent swimmer due to health and safety reasons. Although there is someone at the pool at all times, the child needs to be able to swim freely without aids.
What is the additional charges for Swimming and Climbing?
Due to the instructor fee and this being outsourced from the university, we charge a small amount of £3 for swimming and £5.50 for Climbing which you can pay on the day at reception.
Can my child stay with their sibling all day?
We encourage sibling to be in separate groups to enable the children to develop their social skills. However, depending on the age of the children we can always do our best to put them together.
What age can children attend?
Our camps are for children in Year 1- Year 7 (aged 4-12yrs). Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accept foundation/reception, age children. We have children of a variety of ages attend our holiday clubs. So, we’re sure that your child will have other children their age attending. Plus, we love seeing the older children become role models to the younger children and look after them during the day! This is great for both the younger children and older ones.
My child won't know anyone, can we stay with them?
Yes, we take pride in our ability for children to relax with us. Our staff pay a close eye on those who are new and will introduce them to children their own age. We love seeing a new child go from being nervous in the morning, to not wanting to go home at the end of the day!
Our aims are to have fun and be safe, that’s it. So there pressure on the children to do or be anything, they can choose what activity they want to do and even swap sessions if one isn’t what they thought it would be.
Do you provide lunch or drinks?
We do not provide lunch for the kids at any of our camps. Please send your children with a nut-free packed lunch and morning/afternoon snacks. Water fountain is available outside the sports hall for children to re-fill their water bottles.
Do you offer the child care voucher payments?
Unfortunately, we do not allow childcare voucher payments at this time. However, we are in the process of going through Ofsted and will hopefully be offering this soon.
I have more than one child to sign up, do you offer discount?
Yes we do! we offer sibling discount with code SIB20.
